Oswego City Republican Committee Meets Its Candidates


OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego City Republican Committee met Oct. 18 to meet and encourage its candidates for this November’s election.

Each candidate reported on their plans for victory in the election.

They discussed the current challenges to Oswego and their efforts to improve the neighborhoods we all live in.

Oswego City Republican Chairman, Paul Santore, encouraged each committee to work hard their candidates.

The candidate for Oswego city mayor, David White, thanked all his supporters and talked of his door to door campaign.

Judge James McCluskey, candidate for Supreme Court, from Jefferson County, reminded those present that there are four seats open for Supreme Court.

Gregory Oakes, candidate for DA, thanked the committee for its support.

George Reed, candidate for 15th District, Oswego County Legislature, discussed his long experience in community service.

Legislator from the 17th District, Mary Flett, was thanked for her efforts on the behalf of other candidates.

Also present were city councilors Michael Myers, from the Second Ward; Daniel Donovan, from the Fifth Ward; Ronald Kaplewicz, from the Seventh Ward; Steve Loadwick, candidate for Sixth Ward; Michael Todd, candidate for Third Ward; and Shawn Walker, Fourth Ward councilor.
