OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego Community Christian School’s Annual Auction will offer a new twist this year, online bidding during the live auction.
To be held April 5 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Oswego Elks Lodge, corner of West Fifth and Bridge streets, the Oswego Community Christian School’s seventh annual auction fundraiser will feature a silent auction from 1 to 2:30 p.m. followed by a live auction with auctioneer Corrina Pauldine of the McEwen Auction Company from 2:30 to 4 p.m.
This year’s live auction introduces a new feature, online bidding.
Prior to and during the live auction community members will be able to bid on items online by visiting the McEwen Auction Company website http://www.mcewenauctioncompany.com
Click on the link to the OCCS Auction, and follow the instructions to register for online bidding and to view auction items.
Bidders will need a credit card to register but can pay cash upon pickup.
According to Pauldine, the addition of online bidding is becoming a popular option.
“Every estate or businesses’ needs are unique and auction services are developed based on those needs,” said Pauldine. “Our priority is to obtain the best possible auction results for our clients. This is achieved only through personalized auction services. The majority of auctions I perform either include a simultaneous online with live auction or are completely online. There is no cookie-cutter method to running an auction, there shouldn’t be.”
The Oswego Community Christian School’s auction will also include the school’s popular annual prize drawing.
For a donation of $10 individuals will have the opportunity to win one of three great prizes including: a five-day/six-night stay at Disney World or $1,500 Visa Card; an iPad Air; or a $250 gas or grocery gift card.
A limited number of tickets will available these prize drawings.
All proceeds from the event will be used for the continued improvement of the quality of education offered to the students at OCCS.
