OSWEGO, NY – Due to the MLK Holiday on Monday, the Common Council’s committee meetings are scheduled for this evening.
Councilor Robert Corradino requested discussion regarding paperless agendas for committee and council meetings.
The move would make things more efficient as well as save money, he noted.
Among the resolutions to be acted on is a request to return specific real property to the prior owners who lost title due to tax foreclosure.
The two properties in question would be turned over to third parties who have a specific interest in maintaining the properties.
Kevin Caraccioli, city attorney, recommends committee approval, citing back taxes owed to the city and county will be paid in full and the new owners will ensure the properties are well-maintained and continue to produce tax revenue for the city.
The committee meetings get under way at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
