OSWEGO, NY – Due to the observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the Oswego Common Council committees will meet on Tuesday evening.
The Administrative Services Committee will consider a request from Mike Riley, purchasing agent, to purchase lighting upgrades for the east and west side waste water treatment plants through the Large Commercial Energy Initiative program provided by National Grid, which offers rebates on lighting system retrofits.
It would result in an annual energy savings roughly equating to $3,250, he said.
Discussion at the Planning and Development Committee will focus on the revisions to the city’s Downtown Design Guidelines.
Meanwhile, at the Physical Services Committee, Tony Leotta, zoning administrator, will seek to have a public hearing scheduled regarding the amendment to the Brittany Hill Planned Development to allow for six detached single-family homes for properties addressed at 200-201, 203-204, 206, 208 and 210.
He also requests the Common Council be designated as lead agency for the project, EFC No. C7-6344-19-00, which is part of the West Side Sanitary Sewer System Consent Decree.
The committee meetings get under way at 7 p.m. in the Council Chamber at City Hall.
