Oswego County Dental Society Supports Child Advocacy Center

FULTON, NY – Vice president of the Oswego County Dental Society David MacGregor of Great Lakes Oral Surgery presented Karrie Damm, executive director of the Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County, with a donation of food items and more than $1,600 in checks on behalf of the Oswego County Dental Society.

“We are very pleased to count the Oswego County Dental Society among our supporters,” said Damm. “It is rewarding to know that our efforts are recognized and I commend them for their concern for the children of Oswego County.”

Located at 301 Beech St., the CAC is a non-profit organization that works hand-in-hand with local law enforcement, prosecution, child protective services, medical providers, mental health providers and victim advocacy professionals in Oswego County to protect and serve child victims of sexual and physical abuse.

In 2013, the CAC provided advocacy and mental health services to 475 children and their families in Oswego County that are victims of child abuse.
