Oswego County Drug Task Force Announces Meth Arrests

OSWEGO, NY – On Wednesday (May 20), at approximately 5:30 a.m. the Oswego County Drug Task Force with the assistance of the New York State Police Special Operations Response Team (SORT) and Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team (CCSERT) executed a Methamphetamine related search warrant at 45 Canfield Road in the town of Parish.

As a result of the investigation, materials and ingredients used to manufacture methamphetamine and approximately 3 ounces of methamphetamine oil were seized, police said.

Two individuals were arrested and criminally charged as follows:

Pete S. Holmes, 31, of 45 Canfield Road, Parish:
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 2nd degree – Class A II Felony
Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine in the 3rd degree – Class D Felony

Kevin G. Trumble, 22, of homeless
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 2nd degree – Class A II Felony
Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine in the 3rd degree – Class D Felony

Holmes and Trumble were both arraigned in Parish Town Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility without bail.

They are both due back in Parish Town Court on June 2.

The investigation is ongoing and further charges and arrests are forthcoming.

The Oswego County Drug Task Force is comprised of members from the Oswego County District Attorney’s Office, Oswego County Sheriff’s Department, NYS University Police at Oswego, Fulton City Police Department and Oswego City Police Department.
