FULTON – The Oswego County Drug Task Force has announced additional arrests as a result of joint investigations conducted after search warrants were executed by the Oswego County Drug Task Force, the Fulton City Police Department and the New York State Police.
Nyome Sobe, 29, of Rochester, was arrested on July 1 on two charges each of the following:
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4th degree
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th degree
Criminally using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree
Sobe was charged after the discovery of a plastic bag that contained 4.8 grams of suspected crack cocaine in close proximity to the defendant.
He is also accused of possessing 5.5 grams of suspected crack cocaine contained within 13 separate plastic bags.
Sobe was arraigned in Fulton City Court by Hon. Judge David Hawthorne on the initial charges on July 1 and released on $1,000 bail.
He was arrested on an arrest warrant on July 9 and arraigned again by Fulton City Court Judge David Hawthorne.
He was remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 to $50,000 bail.
On June 13, a search warrant was executed at 369 South Third Street, Fulton.
As a result of the investigation and statements obtained, Thomas Knopp Jr., age 29, and Tiffany M. Braunig, 26, were both arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
On June 6, a search warrant was executed at 506 Ontario Street, Fulton, which included the vehicle and residence.
The investigation resulted in the recovery of 26 grams of cocaine, plastic packaging and a bottle of lidocaine from the vehicle and two packages of cocaine and cocaine residue and paraphernalia from the residence, where five children, ages 8 to 15, also reside.
Keith Oakley, 38, and Martha M. Oakley, 34, were both arrested following the investigation.
Keith Oakley was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 4th degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 5th degree, two counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia in the 2nd degree, and endangering the welfare of a child.
Martha Oakley was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree and endangering the welfare of a child.
