Head Start a Pre-K program with Oswego County Opportunities, Inc, is accepting applications for the 2017-2018 school year.
Head Start provides a quality pre-kindergarten program for income eligible 3- and 4-year-old children at no cost.
The program is in eight locations throughout the county.
Children are provided a classroom hands on learning environment to promote school readiness.
Children enjoy learning activities in language, literacy, math, science and technology.
Head Start also provides nutritious meals and works closely with parents to ensure their children are ready for kindergarten.

Parent/Guardians will need to bring proof of their 2016 income, the child’s birth certificate and the child’s immunization record at the time of registration.
A private, non-profit agency, OCO touches the lives of approximately 20,000 people each year through more than 50 programs operating in 100 locations throughout Oswego County.
The agency, which is a United Way of Greater Oswego County member, employs nearly 600 people and has more than 1,200 highly valued volunteers.
