The foundation explained its decision to award the grant by stating, “We believe that your organization is doing important work to the communities you serve, and we are proud that we are able to support you in your efforts. Thank you for the work your organization does to create opportunities so people can live better.”

The funds will be used by the Humane Society to purchase pet food and other
supplies for its dog and cat fostering programs.
