FULTON, NY ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â‚¬Å“ Oswego County Opportunities recently welcomed its newest employees with an orientation session aimed at acclimating employees to the history, mission and vision of the agency.
As one of the top 10 largest private employers in Oswego County, OCO is dedicated to providing its workforce with the training and support they need to excel in their positions with OCO.

ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…â€œEach month OCOÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s new employees receive a thorough orientation,ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã‚Â said Jo-Lyn Phillips of OCO. ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…â€œThe orientation session includes both mandated training on topics such as HIPAA confidentiality, as well as everything they need to know about our agency including, meeting our executive director, Diane Cooper-Currier; learning the organizational structure of the agency; training on the programming of the agency; and discussions of work ethics and expectations. ItÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s busy a day that prepares them well for their career at OCO.ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã‚Â
Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â OCO serves more than 20,000 people each year through more than 40 programs.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â The agency employs more than 600 people and has more than 1,000 highly valued volunteers.
