Oswego County Sheriff’s Office: Monday, 7/06/09

On 7/02/09 at 1:15 p.m., Brandon E. Lane, II, 18, of 2671 SR 3, Apt. A4, Fulton, NY, was arrested at the Oswego County Correctional Facility for Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor, stemming from the investigation into an incident that occurred in the Town of Granby on or about 6/8/09 when he allegedly entered a vehicle that was parked in a driveway and stole a GPS unit. He was further charged with Grand Larceny, Fourth Degree, a class E felony, and Conspiracy, Fifth Degree, a class A misdemeanor, following his alleged participation in the entry to a vehicle parked at a different Town of Granby residence on or about 6/09/09 from which he allegedly took binders containing CD’s. Mr. Lane was arraigned before Town of Granby Court on all charges and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bail bond. He is scheduled to return to court on 7/13/09.

On 7/02/09 at 4:46 p.m., Nathaniel T. DeFalco, 24, of 7 Birch Lane, Oswego, NY, was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree; Operation While Registration Suspended; and No Inspection Certificate, following a traffic stop in the Town of Scriba after a License Plate Reader targeted his vehicle as he drove westbound on CR 4. He was issued tickets returnable to Town of Scriba Court on 7/16/09 and released.

On 7/02/09 at 5:00 p.m., Cameron L. Hart, 18, of 411 Clifford Rd., Fulton, NY, was arrested for Burglary, Third Degree, a class D felony, and Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor, stemming from his alleged participation in breaking into a Town of Volney business and stealing a large quantity of alcohol and other items on or about 5/24/09. Mr. Hart was arraigned before the Hon. James Aluzzi, Town of Volney Court, and released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to reappear in court on 7/06/09 to answer the charges.

On 7/02/09 at 5:52 p.m., Gerald L. Gleason, Jr., 35, of 1085 SR 176, Fulton, NY, was arrested in the Town of Granby, charged with being a Fugitive from Justice after two warrants from Tuscarawas County in New Philadelphia, Ohio, were revealed during a traffic stop. Mr. Gleason was arraigned before the Hon. Kenneth Adkins, Town of Scriba Court, and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility without bail. He is scheduled to return to court on 8/06/09.

On 7/02/09 at 6:30 p.m., Javonnia L. Rouse, 30, of 27 Marlborough Road, Rochester, NY, was arrested at the Oswego County Correctional Facility for Grand Larceny, Fourth Degree, a class E felony, after she allegedly took merchandise totaling more than $2,000 from the Wal-Mart store located in the City of Oswego on 7/01/09. Ms. Rouse was arraigned before the Hon. Michael Shanley, Oswego City Court, and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bail bond. She is scheduled to return to Oswego City Court on 7/07/09 to answer the charges. An investigation and subsequent arrest for her participation in a theft from the Wal-Mart Super Center located in the Town of Granby that also took place on 7/01/09 led to this arrest.

On 7/02/09 at 7:15 p.m., Ashton N. Walts, 20, of 466 Old CR 1, Mexico, NY, was arrested for Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor, stemming from a domestic incident that occurred at a Town of Mexico residence during which she allegedly kicked a victim while the victim was holding a child, then hit the victim after the child was set down on the lawn. Ms. Walts was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Town of Mexico Court on 7/07/09 and released to a third party.

On 7/03/09 at 3:30 p.m., Marc E. Horning, 22, of 195 Hanson Road, Mexico, NY, was arrested for Criminal Mischief, Fourth Degree, a class A misdemeanor, stemming from the same domestic incident that occurred on 7/02/09. Mr. Horning was accused of causing damage to a victim’s vehicle by throwing a glass at it twice during an argument. He is scheduled to answer the charge before Town of Mexico Court on 7/07/09.

On 7/03/09 at 2:10 a.m., Lester A. Chybinski, 25, of 399 US Rt. 11, Apt. 2, Central Square, NY, was charged with Criminal Mischief, Fourth Degree, a class A misdemeanor, after being accused of smashing a youth’s tricycle and slashing its tires, an act that occurred with no apparent motivation. Mr. Chybinski was released on an appearance ticket returnable to Town of Hastings Court on 7/20/09.

On 7/03/09 at 10:53 a.m., Leon R. House, Jr., 31, of 325 Russell Road, Fulton, NY, was arrested for Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor, stemming from a domestic incident that occurred at his residence on 6/30/09, during which he allegedly threw a cup of coffee into the face of a victim and pushed and struck the victim, while in the presence of minors. Mr. House was released on an appearance ticket returnable to Town of Granby Court on 7/20/09.

On 7/03/09, Harold L. Brockett, Jr., 64, of 716 SR 69, Williamstown, NY, was operating a 2002 Chevrolet pickup truck eastbound on SR 69 in the Town of Parish at 2:06 p.m. when a pedestrian, Hannah M. LaCrosse, 10, of 242 Hong Kong Road, Parish, NY, reportedly crossed from 2970 SR 69, north to south, and ran into the truck, breaking off the mirror on the driver’s side with her shoulder. Ms. LaCrosse was transported by ambulance to University Hospital in Syracuse. The pedestrian’s failure to yield right of way appears to have been the contributing factor in the incident.

On 7/03/09 at 5:23 p.m., Charles J. Pardee, 46, of 281 Ball Road, Hastings, NY, was arrested for Criminal Mischief, Fourth Degree, a class A misdemeanor, after being accused of scratching the paint on a vehicle belonging to a victim with whom he had just had a verbal argument. Mr. Pardee is scheduled to answer the charge before Town of Hastings Court on 7/15/09.

On 7/04/09 at 6:00 p.m., Randall T. Forcione, 44, of 2510 LeMoyne St., Apt. 1, Mattydale, NY, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated; Driving With .08 of One Percent or More of Alcohol; Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Seventh Degree, a class A misdemeanor; and Failure to Yield the Right of Way Entering Another Road, following a traffic stop on Parsons Road in the Town of Hannibal. Mr. Forcione had been observed entering SR 104 from a driveway, reportedly failing to yield to oncoming traffic. The investigation found him to be under the influence of alcohol and to be in possession of a small quantity of marijuana and a small quantity of Hydrocodone. Mr. Forcione was issued appearance tickets returnable to Town of Hannibal Court on 7/21/09 and released to a third party.

On 7/05/09 at 8:20 p.m., a 17 year old male residing in the Town of Scriba, was arrested for Criminal Mischief, Fourth Degree, a class A misdemeanor, and Menacing, Third Degree, a class B felony, after he was accused of making verbal threats against a victim, as well as pushing the victim, grabbing the victim’s neck, and punching a hole in the wall of his residence, threatening to overturn furniture, and throwing a kitchen chair causing it to break. The youth was arraigned before Town of Scriba Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $50 cash bail or $1,000 bail bond. He is scheduled to return to court on 7/09/09.
