Oswego County Sheriff’s Office: Thursday, 9/3/09


On 8/31/09 at 5:26 p.m., Jason M. Taylor, 21, of 103 Onionville Rd., Hannibal, NY was operating a 2000 GMC pick up east on Dunham Rd. in the Town of Hannibal, when the vehicle reportedly went off the north side of the roadway through the lawn of 256 Dunham Rd. then re-entered the roadway before overturning and leaving the south side of the road and coming to rest on its roof. Mr. Taylor was transported by ambulance to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse. He was issued UTT’s for Failure to Keep Right, Speed Not Reasonable & Prudent and Operating a vehicle w/o Safety Belt.

On 9/2/09 at 3:30 p.m., Jeffrey S. Pitre, 35, of SR 48 Bldg #77, Phoenix, NY was arrested for False Written Statement, a class A misdemeanor stemming from the investigation into an incident in which he reported an ATV and a Nintendo DS stolen from his residence. Mr. Pitre was released on an appearance ticket, returnable to the Town of Granby Court on 9/21/09.
