On 6/30/09 at 4:50 p.m., Sean P. Spry, 18, of 11 Weaver Ave., Hastings, NY was operating a 1999 Chevrolet southwest on CR 12 in the Town of Schroeppel when the right rear tire reportedly fell off of the vehicle causing him to lose control and go off the south side of the roadway into a ditch. A passenger in the vehicle, April Hartranft, 16, was taken by ambulance to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse. Tire failure seems to have been a contributing factor.
On 7/3/09 at 4:14 p.m., Peter J. Carocci III, 29, of 6030 East Taft Rd. Apt #E2, Syracuse, NY was arrested for Assault, 3rd degree, a class A misdemeanor following the investigation into an incident in which he allegedly struck an individual in the face at Three Mile Bay in the Town of West Monroe. Mr. Carocci was arraigned in the West Monroe Town Court by Hon. Kimberly Inman and released with a return to court date of 7/13/09.
On 7/5/09, George D. Jandrew, 50, of 229 S. Collingwood Ave., Syracuse, NY was arrested at 8:36 p.m. for DWI and Operating a MV with BAC .08 of 1% following the investigation into a one vehicle mva at the intersection of CR 37 and Dockside Drive in the Town of Hastings where he reportedly overturned his motorcycle. Mr. Jandrew was released on UTTÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s, returnable to the Town of Hastings Court on 7/20/09.
On 7/6/09 at 1:50 p.m., Shytrece T. Banks, 30, of 21 Lehigh Ave., Rochester, NY was arrested at the Oswego County Correctional Facility for Grand Larceny, 4th degree, a class E felony after she allegedly played a role in taking merchandise from the Oswego City Wal-Mart totaling more than $2000.00 on July 1, 2009. Ms. Banks was arraigned before Hon. J. Metcalf, Oswego City Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility without bail with a scheduled return to court date of 7/14/09. An investigation and subsequent arrest for her participation in a theft from the Wal-Mart Super Center located in the Town of Granby that took place on 7/1/09 led to this arrest.
On 7/7/09, Stacy L. Kasten, 25, of 100 E. 10th St., Oswego, NY was arrested at 3:34 a.m. for Disorderly Conduct following an incident which reportedly took place at a residence in the Town of Scriba where she allegedly was yelling and screaming at individuals even after being asked to stop by patrol. Ms. Kasten was issued an appearance ticket, returnable to the Town of Scriba Court on 7/23/09.
