Oswego County Sheriff’s Office: Tuesday, 8/4/09

On 8/2/09 at 5:14 p.m., Robert F. Way, 48, of PO Box 251, Gorham, NY was operating a 2009 Subaru stopped at the stop light at the intersection of SR 104 and SR 3 in the Town of Hannibal when the vehicle was rear ended by a 2005 Hyundai being operated by Donna M. Deshane, 62, of 2507 CR 55, Brasher Falls, NY which was rear ended by a 2000 Dodge being operated by Lance C. Zerniak, 17, of PO Box 203, Rose, NY. Mr. Zerniak ticketed for Following too Closely. Slippery pavement seems to have been a contributing factor.

On 8/3/09 at 9:00 a.m., Dakota N. Brokhoff, 17, of 1728 CR 45, Palermo, NY was arrested for Burglary, 3rd degree, a class D felony; Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, 5th degree, a class A misdemeanor; Petit Larceny; Conspiracy, 5th degree and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana following the investigation into an incident which reportedly occurred at a T/O Granby business where he allegedly entered the business after smashing the glass out of the front door and stole consumable goods. Mr. Brokhoff was arraigned in the Town of Scriba Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2500.00 cash or $5000.00 bond with a return to Town of Granby Court on 8/10/09.
