Oswego County Sheriff’s Office: Wednesday, 9/9/09


On 9/4/09 at 6:10 p.m., Allison K. Lowe, 16, of 6179 Knickerbocker, Ontario, NY was operating a 2002 Oldsmobile east on SR 104 in the Town of Oswego when she failed to keep right causing the vehicle to strike a guard rail on the north side of roadway and overturn. A passenger in the vehicle, Matthew R. Lowe, 14, was transported by ambulance to Oswego Hospital. Ms. Lowe was ticketed for Failure to Keep Right. Driver inexperience seems to have been a contributing factor.

On 9/8/09 at 10:26 p.m., Caleb J. Longley, 23, of 1987 Eno Rd., Martville, NY was operating a 1997 Honda motorcycle south on CR 7 in the Town of Oswego when a deer reportedly ran out in front of him in turn he dismounted causing the vehicle to continue to the east side of the road and strike a ditch before overturning. Mr. Longley was ticketed for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a MV, 3rd degree.

On 9/8/09, William P. Miller, 26, of 546 CR 16, Mexico, NY was arrested at 7:50 a.m. for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a MV, 2nd degree ( 10 scoffs, 8 on 4 dates) and Speed in Zone following a traffic stop on CR 41 in the Town of Mexico. Mr. Miller was arraigned in the Town of Richland Court and ROR’d with a return to T/O Mexico Court on 9/15/09.

On 9/8/09 at 12:03 p.m., Edward M. Logan, 21, of 104 Ardsley Dr., Dewitt, NY was arrested at the Onondaga County Public Safety Center based on a bench warrant issued by City of Oswego Judge Metcalf charging him with Obstructing Governmental Administration, 2nd degree. Mr. Logan was arraigned in the City of Oswego Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2500.00 cash bail with a return to court on 9/22/09.

On 9/8/09 at 6:30 p.m., Michael P. Gardner, 33, of 34 Woodruff Rd. Lot #3, Hannibal, NY was arrested at the Oswego County Correctional Facility based on a bench warrant issued by the Town of Hannibal Court charging him with Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Mr. Gardner was arraigned by Hon. Judge Dennison in the Town of Hannibal Court and remanded back to OCJ on $500.00 cash or $1000.00 bond, returnable to the T/O Hannibal Court on 10/6/09.

On 9/8/09, Keith P. House, 20, of 3259 US Rt. 11 Apt. # Lot 1, Mapleview, NY was arrested at 11:31 p.m. for Menacing, 3rd degree, a class B misdemeanor following the investigation into a harassment complaint made by a Town of Richland resident in which he allegedly threw beer bottles at the residence scaring the occupants inside so they reportedly felt they couldn’t go outside. Mr. House was released on an appearance ticket, returnable to the Town of Richland Court on 9/28/09.
