Oswego County Sheriff’s Office 09/05/2008


On 8/30/08 at 10:00 a.m., Misty B. Simmons, 26, of Kent Rd. Bldg #15081, Sterling, NY was arrested for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a MV, 3rd degree resulting from the investigation into a motor vehicle accident which reportedly occurred at the intersection of CR 8 and SR 3.  Ms. Simmons was issued a UTT, returnable to the Town of Granby Court on 9/15/08.

On 9/3/08 at 4:30 p.m., Deborah J. Robertson was operating a 1995 Dodge pick-up westbound on Hurlbut Rd. in the Town of New Haven,  when she reportedly saw a male, identified as Lester L. Clark, 76, of 208 Hurlbut Rd., New Haven,  walking across the roadway and unable to stop, her vehicle struck Mr. Clark.  Mr. Clark was taken by ambulance to the V.A. Hospital in Syracuse.  Pedestrian confusion seems to have been a contributing factor.

On 9/3/08 at 9:53 p.m., Donald J. Martin Jr., 31, of 956 Middle Rd. Apt. #17, Scriba, NY was arrested for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a MV, 3rd degree after the investigation into a reckless driver complaint.  Mr. Martin was released on a UTT, returnable to the Town of Scriba Court on 9/18/08.

On 9/4/08 at 8:55 a.m., Michaela A. Scheuer, 21, of US Rt. 11 Bldg # 938, Central Square, NY was arrested for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a MV, 2nd degree, Speed in Zone and Speed Exceeding 55 MPH after a traffic stop on SR 49 in the Town of West Monroe.  Mr. Scheuer was arraigned in the V/O Central Square Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1000.00 cash or $2500.00 bail bond.

On 9/4/08 at 10:18 a.m., Matthew R. Byler, 21, of 256 Michigan Ave. Apt. # 420D, Watertown, NY was arrested Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a MV, 3rd degree, Operating a MV with Suspended Registration and Operating MV w/o Insurance after a traffic stop was initiated by the LPR unit signaling.  Mr. Byler was released on UTT’s, returnable to the Town of Mexico Court on 9/16/08.

On 9/4/08 at 7:03 p.m., Vicki S. Moot, 38, of 3060 CR 15, Sandy Creek, NY was arrested  for Assault 3rd, a class A misdemeanor resulting from the investigation into a domestic dispute that allegedly occurred in a Town of Richland residence in August 2008 where she scratched and punched an individual.  Ms. Moot was issue an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Richland Court on 9/29/08.

On 9/4/08 at 4:50 p.m., Carl D. Carpenter Jr., 28, of 197 E. 8th Street, Oswego, NY was arrested for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a MV, 3rd degree after a traffic stop on N. Main St in the Village of Central Square.  Mr. Carpenter was issued a traffic ticket, returnable to the V/O Central Square Court on 9/24/08.

On 9/4/08 at 10:04 p.m., Kenneth A. Saunders, 30, of Leitch Bldg #102 Apt. #B, Fulton, NY was arrested for Grand Larceny, 3rd degree, a class D felony after the investigation into a larceny complaint which allegedly occurred on 8/31/08 at the Quickway convenience store on SR 3 in the Town of Volney where cash, cigarettes and lottery tickets were taken.  Mr. Saunders was arraigned in the Town of Volney Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2000.00 cash or $2000.00 bond.

On 9/4/08 at 11:31 p.m., Timothy J. Harding, 44, of 217 Center Rd., Lacona, NY was arrested for DWI, a class E felony ( previous conviction in 10 years) and Failure to Keep Right following a traffic stop on US Rt. 11 in the Town of Sandy Creek after he was observed by patrol, crossing the yellow center line multiple times along with crossing over the fog line.  Mr. Harding was arraigned in the Town of Sandy Creek Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1000.00 cash or $2000.00 bond.

On 9/5/08 at 3:12 a.m., Gregory J. Dufore II, 25, of 93 Erie St., Oswego, NY was arrested for DWI; Aggravated DWI; Speed in Zone and Failure to Keep Right following a traffic stop investigation at the intersection of CR 57 and Highland Dr. in the Town of Scriba of which was  initiated by patrol’s observation of the vehicle  crossing the double solid yellow lines.  Mr. Dufore was issued UTT’s, returnable to the Town of Scriba Court on 9/18/08.
