Oswego County Sheriff’s Office 09/08/2008

On 9/04/08 at 10:16 a.m., Kathy L. Fountaine, 51, of 305 CR 20, Oswego, NY, was ticketed for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree, following a traffic stop in the Town of Oswego that revealed she had one suspension for failure to pay a fine in the City of Fulton on 6/14/08.  Ms. Fountaine is scheduled to answer the charge before Town of Oswego Court on 9/22/08.

On 9/05/08 at 10:50 a.m., Joseph C. Mannino, 24, of 886 SR 104B, Mexico, NY, was arrested for Aggravated Harassment, Second Degree, a class A misdemeanor, stemming from a domestic incident that occurred on 8/03/08 in the Village of Mexico where he allegedly followed a victim around the Village, threatened to have his dog bite the victim, then blocked the victim with his car so the victim couldn’t leave the parking lot of a business.  He then allowed the victim to leave, but reportedly told the victim he had a gun and would continue to follow the victim home.  He then reportedly placed a threatening phone call to the victim.  Mr. Mannino was released on an appearance ticket and will answer the charge before Town of Mexico Court on 9/09/08.

On 9/05/08, Kenneth C. Olivia, Jr., 25, of 3453 Gaskin Road, Baldwinsville, NY, was served with a Criminal Summons issued by Town of Richland Court charging him with Harassment, Second Degree, a violation, stemming from a domestic incident that occurred at Brennan Beach on 8/17/08 during which he allegedly struck a male victim several times about the face and head.  Mr. Olivia is scheduled to appear before Town of Richland Court on 9/15/08.

On 9/05/08, Christoher D. Ewald, 35, of 681 CR 54, Lot 22, Pennellville, NY, was operating a 1991 Pontiac eastbound on SR 49 in the Town of Hastings at 3:49 p.m. when he reportedly crossed the center line at the intersection of Gunther Road and collided with a westbound 1995 Chevrolet pickup truck driven by John M. Smurat, 47, of PO Box 802, Brewerton, NY.  The pickup truck was towing a cargo trailer at the time.  The collision resulted in property damage at 4 Gunther Road.  Mr. Ewald and his passenger, Ashlee E. Ewald, 11, as well as Mr. Smurat and his passenger, Ethan A. Faulter, 15, were all transported by ambulance to University Hospital in Syracuse.  Mr. Ewald was ticketed for Failed to Keep Right.

On 9/06/08 at 3:41 p.m., Clifford F. Kee, 27, of 81 E. Eighth St., Oswego, NY, was arrested at the Oswego City Police Department based on a warrant issued by Oswego County Family Court charging him with violating Article IV of the Family Court Act (failure to pay support).  Mr. Kee was arraigned before the Hon. Kenneth Adkins, Town of Scriba Court, and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $100 cash bail or $250 bail bond.  He is scheduled to answer the charge before Oswego County Family Court on 9/08/08.

On 8/06/08 at 9:35 p.m., Vincent P. Rider, 33, of 886 US Rt. 11, Lot 3, Central Square, NY, was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Second Degree, following a traffic stop US Rt. 11 in the Town of Hastings   Mr. Rider was released on a ticket returnable to Town of Hastings Court on 9/24/08.

On 9/06/08 at 11:56 p.m., Ashley M. Pritchard, 20, of 8061 SR 104, Oswego, NY, was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree (license revoked on 12/04/07 for three speeding violations of misdemeanors in 18 months), and Unlicensed Operator, following a traffic stop that occurred in the driveway of her residence.  She had been observed driving southbound on SR 104 and recognized from a recent traffic stop.  Ms. Pritchard was released on tickets returnable to Town of Oswego Court on 9/29/08.

On 9/07/08 at 1:26 a.m., Anthony J. Belge, 20, of 2793 SR 49, West Monroe, NY, was charged with Disorderly Conduct and for violating the Alcohol and Beverage Control Law for underage consumption of alcohol   Mr. Belge was arraigned before the Hon. Stephen Pelon, Town of Constantia Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $250 cash bail or $500 bail bond.  He is scheduled to return to court on 9/15/08.  The arrest was the result of an investigation into a loud party attended by approximately 60 young people outside of a Town of Constantia residence.  During the investigation Mr. Belge reportedly continued to drink beer in the presence of officers when told to put the beer down and continued to use obscene language toward the officers.
