On 9/23/08 at 5:15 p.m., a 16 year old male residing in the Town of Hastings was arrested for Menacing, Third Degree, a class B misdemeanor, after he was accused of yelling threats to residents outside of their Town of West Monroe home.  The youth was released on an appearance ticket returnable to Town of West Monroe Court on 10/06/08.

On 9/24/08 at 2:16 a.m., James W. Campbell, 27, of 1008 Hattie St., Covington, Va., was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated; Driving With .08 of One Percent or More of Alcohol; Criminal Trespass, Second Degree, a class A misdemeanor; and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor, stemming from a trespass in progress complaint.  The charges are the result of an investigation that found Mr. Campbell drove while under the influence of alcohol, stopping at a Town of Oswego residence, which he reportedly mistook for a bed and breakfast.  While at the residence he allegedly parked his vehicle on the lawn behind the house and made entry into the residence without permission, waking the adult resident and her two children with his alleged screaming and cursing as he banged on all the doors.  Mr. Campbell was arraigned before the Hon. Stanley Jung, Town of Oswego Court, and remanded to the Oswego County correctional Facility in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bail bond.  He is scheduled to return to court on 9/29/08 to answer the charges.
