Both Patrick and Davis were hired late in 2014, and were assigned ambulance duty until they began the academy in March.

The recruits completed the required 229 hours of course studies, and participated in intense physical training designed to prepare them for the demanding workload.  They also completed the physically demanding CPAT (candidate physical agility test).

Firefighters Patrick and Davis will enjoy a few days off before rejoining their shifts later this week.

Oswego Fire Chief Jeff McCrobie said, “We are very proud of firefighters Patrick and Davis, and appreciate all of their hard work and dedication during training.”

McCrobie also spoke of their families, “We also want to thank the Patrick and Davis families for their support during the academy.  It’s tough on the family, having these guys away for so long.”

Please join us in congratulating these Firefighters on a job well done!
