Oswego Frosh Orientation Set Aug. 30

OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego High School “Class of 2014” will be welcomed by administration, teachers and students on Aug. 30 for the annual freshmen orientation.

The event will be held from 4-7 p.m. at Oswego High School on Buccaneer Boulevard.

This will be a perfect opportunity for the newest students to become familiar with the building.

Students will receive their class schedules for the upcoming year. There will also be an opportunity to visit or discuss any concerns with guidance counselors.

A variety of activities and events are scheduled.

Photos for student identification cards will be taken, tours will be conducted by members of the National Honor Society,  and various clubs and school organizations will present some of the exciting extracurricular activities that are available to all students.

Students will also have the opportunity to practice the combinations on their new lockers.

Everyone involved in this year’s event can enjoy a picnic style dinner that will be prepared by administration, teachers and food service staff.

The dinner is open to all parents and students in attendance.
