Oswego Girl Scouts to Celebrate 100 years of Girl Scouts in America

Oswego Girl Scouts will be celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Girl Scouts on March 10 at Oswego Wal-Mart from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m.

Girls from Junior Troop 10461 have been busy planning this event.

This year, the girls have been working on the Girl Scout Journey – It’s Your Story. Our celebration and displays tie in with the theme of role models and stereotypes.

A special surprise will take place and a celebration cake will be served to guests.

Girl Scouting is a strong force in the Oswego community.

Girl Scouting gives girls three keys to leadership: Discover, Connect, Take Action. Girls learn about leadership as they discover new talents, skills, and strengths, connect with others, and take action in their community.

They make friends and memories that will last throughout their lives.

Come out on March 10 and join the celebration.

If you are or were a Girl Scout, sign the guest book. Talk with the girls and share your memories of Girl Scouts.
