Oswego Girls’ Varsity Lacrosse Tops Syracuse

OSWEGO – Friday Oswego got a win while visiting Syracuse.

We had good possessions during the game and it made a big difference for us.

Heading into the half with a lead allowed us some breathing room and coming out in the second half we knew we just needed to play good possession lacrosse to stay on top.

Second half we had to maintain our composer as the snow started to come down and made the field a little bit difficult for us to get ground balls, but we overcame that without any issues.

We did what we set out to do and we shot the ball a lot and very well.

I am very happy with how we played tonight and need to continue to take steps forward as a group.

We have a tough match at home on Tuesday with Jamesville-Dewitt – they have a good team and spread the field well.

We are going to have to keep our game plan of staying with them in the categories of shooting and possession.

Then we are off until after April break and we have a home and away; home vs. Syracuse and then away in Mexico.
