OSWEGO, NY – Oswego Harbor Festivals, Inc., is in search of several talented and conscientious volunteer board members and/or committee members interested in planning and organizing for the organization’s annual free music festival: Oswego Harborfest.
The organization is specifically looking for individuals that have knowledge of grant opportunities available for not-for profit organizations, are willing to participate in fundraising activities, and have some logistical experience.
Executive director Peter Myles said, “Our board and committee members are invaluable to the planning and organizing of Harborfest because they tirelessly donate their time, thoughtfulness, leadership, and expertise. We hope going into the festival’s 30th anniversary to make the celebration something truly special for everyone.”

Harborfest is one of the few admission-free music festivals in the country.
It was founded with the mission of creating nationally recognized festivals and events that attract and engage a broad and diverse audience, celebrate and build community, and advance economic development in Oswego.
