Oswego Health’s Information Services And Telecommunication Dept Hires Staff

OSWEGO, NY – Oswego Health has named two staff members to its Information Services and Telecommunications Department.

Jennifer Zuber was named director of applications and Stephen LeBlond was named manager of telecommunications.

Jennifer ZuberZuber will oversee the implementation and operation of the software applications used by the healthcare system.

A native of Oswego, Zuber most recently oversaw software installations at the Cerner Corporation, a leading healthcare software company.

She has also worked as a registered nurse and staff educator at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse She holds both an associates degree in nursing and Bachelor of Science degree in education.

Zuber is pursuing her masters in health services management at SUNY-IT.

Stephen LeBlondLeBlond joins Oswego Health from AT&T where he had served as a network specialist since 1999.

He has also served in the U.S. Army where he was trained in communications.

LeBlond earned an associate of science degree in business administration and is currently working towards his bachelor of science degree at SUNY-IT.

He holds several certificates including a Cicso Certified network Association, Nortel Optera Engineering, Lucent Switch Training, as well as several others.

LeBlond recently oversaw Oswego Hospital’s successful switchover to a new phone system.

The new system provides the hospital with many new telecommunication features including voice mail.

Later this year, similar switchover will be completed at two other Oswego Health locations; the Seneca Hill campus and at the Behavior Services Dept.
