OSWEGO, NY – Members of the Oswego Health Auxiliary are helping five Oswego Health employees advance their healthcare careers through the presentation of scholarships.
The Auxiliary recently presented five scholarships to nurses who are earning various degrees in their career field.
The scholarship winners seated from left: Crystal Gholipour-Abbasi, a registered nurse who holds a Bachelors of Nursing Degree (BSN) and is studying to earn her family nurse practitioner degree at Upstate Medical University’s College of Nursing. She works in Oswego Hospital’s case management department. Mariel Weston, an intensive care unit RN, who is earning her BSN degree at Utica College; Rebecca Kimberly, a senior RN in the surgery center, who is studying at Keuka College to earn her BSN degree and Jayne Danzer, a senior RN on the medical/surgical floors of Oswego Hospital, who is earning a BSN at Utica College.
Absent from the photo was Deanne Meyers-Acome, who will graduate with a BSN degree from SUNY Delhi in May. She works in the case management department.
