OSWEGO, NY – Oswego Health honored three board members for their dedicated service during a holiday reception held at Springside at Seneca Hill.
The board members were presented a plaque in recognition of their service.
Pictured from left are Oswego Health president and CEO Ann C. Gilpin, John FitzGibbons, the Rev James Tschudy and Oswego Health Board president Thomas Schneider.
Absent from the photo is Rick Shaw, who is a board member stepping down.
FitzGibbons served on the health system board from 2007 until this year and on the Manor Board from 2011 to 2012.
He also served on the Oswego Hospital board and Oswego Health Home Care board, the health system’s newest affiliate, from 2011 to this year.
Along with serving on these boards, he was a very active participant of Oswego Health’s Development Council, serving as chairman of the Annual Support Committee, which raised funds each year for Oswego Health.
Tschudy served on various Oswego Health boards for the past 34 years, volunteering thousands of hours as a member of the Oswego Hospital, Oswego Health, Manor and Oswego Health Home Care boards.
Shaw served on the Manor board from 2011 to 2013 and on Oswego Health, Oswego Hospital, and Oswego Health Home Care boards for the past two years.
In 2011, Oswego Health adopted a new, more efficient mirror style of governance that overlapped its six separate boards of directors.
Previously, these boards operated separately.
