OSWEGO, NY – Oswego Heritage FCU celebrated the opening of its newest location on Friday.
“In order to provide our membership easier access in Oswego, an additional office has been opened at Hillside Commons at 7 Fourth Ave.,” said Sally Godfrey, CEO.
Oswego Heritage was founded in 1952 under the name of Dilts Machine Employees Federal Credit Union.
It was located at 46 N. First St., Fulton.
The original sponsor was Dilts Machine Incorporated.
“We moved from the Black Clawson plant to 23 Canalview Mall, Fulton, and changed our name to Oswego Heritage FCU in 2004,” Godfrey added. “Oswego State FCU merged in February 2005. Oswego Heritage now serves 19 different separate employee groups.”
The original Oswego State FCU office in Oswego is located at 507C Culkin Hall on the college campus.
Oswego Heritage is a full service financial institution.
“We have $11.5 million is assets, eight employees and serve more than 1,700 members,” Godfrey said. “All three locations will continue with our heritage of providing exceptional personal service to our membership.”
