Oswego Hikes Launch Fee At Wright’s Landing Marina

OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego Common Council sailed through a light agenda Monday night.

The councilors agreed to increase the fees for senior launch passes at Wright’s Landing Marina this coming season.

All other rates, including those at the International Marina, will remain the same at this time.

The rates are now $50 for residents and $100 for non-residents. It was $20.

Mayor Tom Gillen was authorized to sign a renewal agreement for legal services for Labor Relations with Roemer, Wallens, Gold & Mineaux, LLP for a three-year period from Feb. 1, 2012 through Jan. 31, 2015.

Deborah Coad, city chamberlain, was authorized to amend the 2012 Operating Budget Account A1420-0101 City Attorney Personal Services detail funding.

A change in the structure of the city attorney’s budget relating to personal services will occur in 2012; an amendment, with no change in total to the budget, is necessary to effectuate the change.

Police Chief Tory DeCaire’s request to send two police officers to a Drug Recognition Expert School on March 12-23 and either April 16-21 or April 23-28, pending availability, was approved.

Phase I and II are held at the New York State Park Police Academy, 16 Camp Cass Road, Rensselaerville. Phase III is held at the Maricopa County Jail in Phoenix, Ariz.

Funding is available in the department’s budget.

  1. Awesome, way to keep pushing people away from this city, instead of raising prices they should be lowered to bring more people in, the lake/harbor could be an amazing money maker here, but we focus on chasing people away, ill drop my boat in fair haven from now on
