Oswego Industries’ LIFE Visits Granby Fire Station

Recently the LIFE program at Oswego Industries, Inc. visited the Granby Fire Station to learn about being a firefighter.

Tim Carley and Billy Allen showed the group around the station, helping them to try on the firefighters’ gear, letting them sit in the cab of the fire trucks, and even giving everyone a try with the fire hose! It was a great outing and very much appreciated by the program participants.

Oswego Industries, Inc. is a not-for-profit Community Rehabilitation Program which has been providing services to individuals with disabilities in Oswego County since 1968. The LIFE program uses the community as a classroom, teaching life skills and encouraging community inclusion.
