OSWEGO, NY – Oswego Kartway returns to weekly championship action on Friday with racing getting under way at 7:30 p.m.
All 13 of the Kartway’s divisions will be in action on Friday presented by MBR Speed Shop, located in Baldwinsville.
With four championship events in the books for the 2014 season, drivers continue to put themselves in position for a run at the championship in their respective divisions.
Current championship point leaders include Josh Ostrander (Sr. Blue Clone), Joseph Ardizzone (Sr. Green Clone), Seth Perrin (Jr. Blue Clone), Madison Baum (Jr. Purple Clone), Jake Sivers (Stock Light), Eric Raponi (Clone Heavy), Paul Fountaine (Stock 425 & Clone 425), Nate Schultzkie (Clone Light), Nick Demling (BSP Clone), Chad Jacobson (Champ), and Alan Lane (Open).
Pit gates will open for competitors on July 4 beginning at 4:30 p.m. with a driver’s meeting at 6:30 p.m. and hot laps at 6:45 p.m.
The night’s first heat race will go green at 7:30 p.m.
Kartway member entry fees will be $15 with non-member entries set at $18.
Non-competitor pit passes are $10.
Transponders will be required in order to be scored. Those who do not have their own transponder can rent one from the Kartway for $10.
Spectator admission is just $5 per car load.
Kartway events run May through September on most Friday nights, culminating with the Fall Frenzy 200 Championships on September 20.
