OSWEGO, NY – Prolonged lake effect rains overnight and into Friday have forced Oswego Kartway officials to postpone the Justin Lamb Memorial to the Kartway’s Track Championship Night on August 22.
With cool and cloudy conditions expected throughout the day, the track surface was deemed too saturated to be turned around for clean and effective racing tonight (Aug. 15).
The Kartway returns to action on August 22 with the second annual Justin Lamb Memorial as well as Track Championship night.
The events on August 22 will be single points and will determine track champions in all regular Kartway divisions.
Entry fees for Kartway members will be set at $15 while non-member entry fees are $18, with pit passes included. Pit passes will also be available for spectators for just $10.
Friday night’s racing program will see heat and feature lineups based on the point earned handicap system.
As always spectators are welcome to come to the Kartway and enjoy the racing action with a full concession stand available. Spectator admission is just $5 per car load.
Kartway events run May through September on most Friday nights, culminating with the Fall Frenzy 200 Championships on September 20.
