Oswego Library Poem Event Available Online

OSWEGO, NY – On April 24, the Oswego Public Library hosted people reading their favorite poems.

Oswego Mayor Tom Gillen led off with The Stolen Child by W. B. Yeats.

Libbie and Conner read also before Librarian Edward Elsner finished up with the favorites of Diane C., Matthew Brancato and an attempt at pronouncing Spanish.

Poems read were:

Thirst by Nikki Giovanni
The Tell-Tale Heart by Edgar Allen Poe
The Journey by Mary Oliver
Learning by Judith Viorst
Aprender el Ingles by Luis Alberto Ambroggio
