OSWEGO, NY – Oswego Lions Club will hold its ninth annual “Cow Chip Bingo” fundraiser on September 13 at Lighthouse Lanes in Oswego.

The “Cow Chip Bingo” will take place on a special field that will be sectioned off into 520 square yard plots.

“Deeds” are being sold for $5 for each square yard plot.

Once “Poopsie” the cow is released onto the field, whoever owns the plot that “Poopsie” fertilizes, they will walk away with $500.

“Deeds” are available for purchase at Cakes Galore and More in Oswego.

“Deeds” are also available from any Oswego Lions Club member.

This year, we will once again feature the Classic Car Show.

The classic car show will be from noon to 3 p.m. the day of the event.

Prizes will be given out for the Best Paint Job, Best Modified Truck, Best Modified Car, Best Stock Car and Best Stock Truck.

Give your make, model and year of car. There is no entry fee to enter your classic car. All are welcome!

Thanks to our sponsors, Fulton Savings Bank, Ken’s Body Shop, Nelson Law Firm, Pathfinder Bank and Murphy’s Auto Care, this fun-filled afternoon will also feature live music by Joe Donelan playing top tunes from the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s right through today.

He will play from noon to 3 p.m.

Adding that special touch to the event again this year will be the World Famous “Lighthouse Lanes chicken BBQ,” which will run from noon until 3 p.m. (or until sold out).

Presale tickets for the BBQ are $8 (must pick up by 2 p.m.) or $10 on the day of the event.

The BBQ includes chicken, baked beans, salt potatoes and a dinner roll.

There will be chairs and tables set up outside so you can relax and enjoy your dinner and listen to the live music.
