Oswego Man Charged With Rape

OSWEGO – On Tuesday (Nov. 15), at 10:34 a.m., sheriff’s deputies arrested  Cody Wayne Pickreign, 21, of 293 E. 10th St., Oswego, for third-degree rape, a class E felony and endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor.

The arrest stems from the investigation into an incident that occurred on or about the months of August and September 2016 at a city of Oswego residence, police said.

He allegedly engaged in sexual intercourse with the victim being less than 17 years of age.

Pickreign was arraigned by Hon. Judge James Metcalf in Oswego City Court.

He is scheduled to reappear on Dec. 1.
