OSWEGO – On Thursday (Dec. 7) at 2:08 p.m., sheriff’s deputies arrested Donald E. Schopp, 56, of 128 Tug Hill Road, Oswego, for first-degree sexual abuse, a class D felony.
The arrest stems from the investigation into an incident that occurred during the summer of 2015 at a town of Oswego residence.
He allegedly had sexual contact with the victim being less than 13 years of age.
Schopp was arraigned in the Town of Hannibal Court and remanded to the Oswego County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
He is to return to Town of Oswego Court on Dec. 18.
