Oswego Man Facing Felony Drug Charges

OSWEGO, NY – On Wednesday, at approximately 3 p.m., pursuant to ongoing investigations into illegal drug activity, members of the Oswego City Police Department Anti-Crime Team executed a search warrant at 42 Ellen St.

Also assisting were members of the Oswego City Police Department Patrol Division, Criminal Investigations Division and Special Response Team.

Upon a search of the residence, police located and seized 8 bags containing a total of 78 MDMA pills, commonly known as Ecstasy, and 41 individually packaged bags of marijuana with an aggregate weight of approximately 40 grams.

Resident Alexandre J. Hosein, 30, was arrested and charged with one count each of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree – with Intent to Sell (B Felony), Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th Degree (C Felony), and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana (violation).

Hosein was arraigned in Oswego City Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bail bond.

He is scheduled to return on Nov. 2 at 9:30 a.m.
