OSWEGO – At about 6:05 p.m. today (Aug. 9), the Oswego City Police Department’s Anti-Crime Team (ACT), with the assistance of the Special Response Team (SRT) executed a narcotics related search warrant at 13 E. VanBuren St., Oswego.
The execution of the search warrant resulted in the seizure of 6 bags of crack cocaine that were packaged for sale as well as additional items that are consistent with the illegal sales of narcotic substances, police report.
As a result of the investigation, Joseph C. Mannino Jr., 28, was arrested and charged with the following:
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rdh degree, intent to sell – Class B Felony
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th degree- Class D Felony
Criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree- Class A Misdemeanor
Mannino is currently being held at the Oswego City Police Department awaiting arraignment on the charges.
