Oswego Man Facing Sexual Abuse Charge

OSWEGO – An Oswego man allegedly sexually abuse a young child this summer, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

On Tuesday (Oct. 4), at 1:27 p.m., Michael C. Pacheck, 33, of 4518 CR 4, Apt A, Oswego, was arrested for first-degree sexual abuse, a class D felony and endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor.

The arrest stems from the investigation into an incident that occurred in July 2016 at a residence in the town of Scriba.

He allegedly engaged in sexual contact with the victim being less than 11 years of age.

Pacheck was arraigned in the City of Oswego Court and remanded to the Oswego County Jail in lieu of $2,500/$5,000 bail.

He is to return to Scriba Town Court on Nov. 3.
