OSWEGO – On Wednesday (Jan. 18) at 12:51 p.m., deputies arrested Nicholas L. McCarty, 20, of 3190 CR 176, Oswego, for two counts of sexual misconduct, a class A misdemeanor.
The arrest stems from the investigation into an incident in which he allegedly engaged in sexual relations with the victim being less than 17 years of age in December 2016 at a town of New Haven residence.
McCarty was arraigned in the Town of Scriba Court and remanded to the Oswego County Jail in lieu of $5000/$10,000 bail with a return to Town of New Haven Court on Feb. 2.
At the same time, McCarty was also arrested for two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor, following the investigation into an incident in the town of New Haven.
He allegedly knowingly took nude photos of the victims.
He was arraigned on the charges in the Town of Scriba Court and is scheduled to return to the Town of New Haven Court on Feb. 2.
Then, at 3:15 p.m., McCarty was arrested based on an arrest warrant issued out of the Town of Granby Court.
He was arraigned in the Town of Scriba Court and is scheduled to return to the Town of Granby Court on Jan. 30.
