The Oswego boy’s modified “white” team continues to play well.

Oswego scored a 4-0 win over Nottingham.

Coach Casey Jones was impressed with the play of both teams. He noted, “This was by far the best team we have faced all season and our boys played their best game of the year.”

Caleb Roy, Jonah Restuccio, Collin Daino, Alex Burger, Garrett Dunsmoor (also three saves), Austin Bell, Nate Miller and Jason Lowery all contributed on the offensive side of the ball.

Jones said,”We had some great ball movement and had some good shots, but could not get one past the goalie.”

Jack Banta, Develin Babcock, Cody Cheeley, Tyler Benjamin, Jonathan Buske and Kyle McCauley had a solid game on defense.

Jerry Galvin had eight saves while Ryan Galvin had three.

After the game the Nottingham squad made a presentation to Josh and Nick Costo giving them an award for sportsmanship.

The squad earlier lost to Liverpool 7-1. Dunsmoor had 13 saves while Jeremy Galvin had three and Ryan Galvin five.

Oswego’s lone goal was scored by Caleb Roy with Miller assisting.

The team also gained a 1-0 win over Camillus. Jonah Restuccio received a perfect pass from Nate Miller for the lone tally. Devlin Babcock played in goal and had two saves while Josh Costo had a good defensive game.
