Oswego Museum Will Celebrate World War II Veterans

OSWEGO – The H. Lee White Museum and Maritime Center will commemorate the 70th anniversary of the National Historic Landmark World War II tug LT-5 on Aug. 25, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Captain Lance Knapp will give a presentation at 2 p.m. on the tug’s World War II history, followed by a special celebration of World War II veterans.

This anniversary celebration is open to the public with special free admission to the museum all day for all veterans.
