Oswego Players Announce Cast For First Play Of 2017

OSWEGO – Stage director Paul McKinney has announced his cast for the Oswego Players’ 2017 opening production of “Last of the Red Hot Lovers.”

The cast includes Steve Standish, Tammy Wilkinson, Cassie Sough and Inez Parker.

Penned by Neil Simon, “Last of the Red Hot Lovers” is the first of two Simon comedies to be presented by the Players this year in honor of his 90th birthday.

The play will be presented on the stage of the Frances Marion Brown Theater in the Oswego Civic Arts Center on March 18, 19, 24, 25 and 26.

Stage manager for the show is Pablo Mendoza.

“Last of the Red Hot Lovers” was previously presented by the Oswego Players in 1978.

Other plays in the 2017 season for the Oswego Players include: “May War With the United States” as part of the Bemelmans Festival in May; “Grease” in July; “The Sunshine Boys,” the second Simon play, in September; “Cards on the Table” in October; and “A Christmas Story” in December.

This marks the Players 79th season of continuous community theater in Oswego.
