Oswego Players To Present Tony Award Winning Comedy ‘Art’ In March

OSWEGO – The Oswego Players will present the Tony award winning comedy ‘Art’ beginning March 5 at the Frances Marion Brown Theater, in Oswego.

The play raises questions about art and friendship, and concerns three long-time friends, Serge, Marc and Yvan.

Serge, indulging his penchant for modern art, buys a large, expensive, completely white painting.

It premiered in French at the Comedie Champs-Elysees in Paris in 1994.

Then opened in English translation in London’s West End in 1996 where it had a run of eight years.
