On July 25, the United States Customs and Border Protection helicopter, that was in Oswego assisting law enforcement during the Friday and Saturday of Harborfest, identified an apparent marijuana grow field located between East Seneca Street and State Route 104, east of George Street in the city of Oswego.

Investigators from the Oswego City Police Department worked with US Customs and Border Protection to locate and seize approximately 60 marijuana plants.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
