Oswego Police Report Harborfest Incidents

OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego City Police Department wishes to announce the following overview of the events that took place in the city of Oswego during the weekend of Harborfest 2010 (Thursday July 22 – 5 p.m. to Sunday July 25, – 11 p.m.) as compared to Harborfest 2008 and 2009 (same time period).

Calls for Service: 388 509 396

Parking Tickets: 129 186 120

Vehicles Towed: 30 29 22

Total Arrests: 67 134 106

Of the above arrests, charges included:

Open Container 39 94 60

Poss. Alcohol Under 21 years old  14 31 17

Disorderly Conduct 10 19 34

Resisting Arrest 1 1 4

DWI / DWAI / DWAI-Drugs 2 2 2
