The Oswego Public Library is selling a small run of signed Doors of Oswego posters by local artist and photographer Dan Distler. The cost is $50 for each 36″ high by 24″ wide poster featuring Oswego’s historic and memorable doors. Photo prints of Distler’s Sunset – Wrights Landing and Harborfest Fireworks are available for $10 each. Also available are prints of Dan’s iconic Oswego Breakwall in the Storm photo. They cost $10 each and are 11″ high by 18 3/4″ wide. Entitled Impact, they also have “Ansun Graphics, quality color printing” centered near the bottom of each print.

You can see these photos, Harborfest posters, and more wonderful works during a showing of Dan Distler’s works in the Oswego Public Library Art Gallery. Included in the show are the Doors of Oswego with a key to where they all are, the Oswego Breakwall in the Storm, Sunset – Wrights Landing, Harborfest Fireworks, and Trees which is the only item in the show for sale. Dan passed away during the summer of 2004 after a battle with cancer. His posters, photographs, and art will always be a part of Oswego.
