Oswego School Board Meets Tuesday

OSWEGO – The Oswego City School District Board of Education will meet on Tuesday at the Education Center Board Room.

The regular meeting will reconvene at 6 p.m. as the board is expected to move to executive session at 5 p.m. to discuss personnel and negotiations.

This will be the final regular meeting for veteran board member Francis Hoefer as he chose not to see re-election to the Board of Education.

During the meeting the board will hear a report from King and King Associates.

The architects will talk about feasibility of possible future planning for the Oswego City School District.

  1. Mr. Hoefer will be very missed, it is the end of an era. Thank you to Fran for all that he did for the families in Oswego. He served with the best interests of the children in mind. I know he is very polarizing but he has the best of intentions and I for one think he did a great job and truly made a difference. Even though he wasn’t able to reduce taxes to the extent he wanted, he still was able to nudge the board in that direction. Fran was undefeated in school board elections. I am sad to see Fran leave.
