OSWEGO, NY – Newly crowned Pathfinder Bank Small Block Super feature winner Mike Bruce will be appearing at the third annual River’s Edge Craft Show on Sunday with his Woodchuck Saloon/Bruce Electric No. 22 racing machine.
The Oswego Lions Club will host the event along the beautiful river’s edge in West Linear Park in Oswego from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“With all of our past fundraising events, we are once again expecting capacity crowds and another successful event for our club,” said Mike Henderson, Oswego Lions Club president. “We will have entertainment, a section dedicated to children, food, wine and fun things to do for the whole family.”
This year’s show is expected to be the largest yet with wonderful crafts, food and fun, and beautiful sites of the city of Oswego.
Bruce, the Spring Champion at Oswego Speedway, will be on hand with his Small Block Super to greet fans and help promote the summer racing schedule at the Speedway with 2014 racing schedules as well as Bruce Racing autograph cards.
With his feature win last Saturday night, Bruce now sits fourth in the Pathfinder Bank Small Block Super Road to the Championship standings heading into Saturday night’s action at the Speedway.
The ISMA Supermodified season kicks-off on Saturday at Oswego Speedway presented by Shea Concrete and North Country Home Builders.
Grandstand gates will open at 3 p.m. on June 7 with ISMA time trials set for 5 p.m. and racing at 6:30 p.m.
Once again in 2014, kids 16 and under will be admitted free of charge with a paid adult with active military also admitted free with ID.
