Oswego Speedway Open Practice Postponed to May 12 Due to Inclement Weather

OSWEGO, NY – Despite Oswego Speedway officials remaining optimistic and attempting to give this afternoon’s (May 6) open practice a go, saturated grounds and pesky rain showers have forced the track to postpone today’s test session to May 12.

A full-time schedule for the May 12 session will be announced in the very near future.

The postponement of practice now sets up two days of action at ‘The Steel Palace’ next weekend, with practice on Friday before Oswego’s 67th annual opening day takes place on May 13 featuring kickoff events for the Novelis Supermodifieds, Pathfinder Bank SBS plus the Richie Evans Memorial 61 for the Race of Champions Asphalt Modified Series.

Admission will remain free in the main grandstand for Friday’s testing and kids 16 and under will be admitted free with a paid adult at all 2017 speedway events with the exception of Budweiser International Classic Weekend.
