Oswego Speedway to Host ARISE and Ride for Ramps Kids’ Charity Bike Ride on May 31

OSWEGO, NY – Oswego Speedway will play host to the ARISE & Ride for Ramps Kids’ Charity Bike Ride on May 31 beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Youngsters will have the opportunity to ride their bikes around the famed 5/8 mile Speedway oval in support of those families with need of ramp access across Oswego County.

Those interested in participating in the ride must check-in at Lighthouse Lanes, located directly across from Oswego Speedway, at 10:30 a.m.

The Kids Bike Ride is $10, which includes the ride itself as well as an activity pass for the bounce house and games that will be taking place at Lighthouse Lanes throughout the afternoon.

A full afternoon is planned at Lighthouse Lanes for the ARISE Ride for Ramps event including the Kids Bike Ride, bounce house and games, but also a 5k run, motorcycle ride and chicken BBQ.

The entire afternoon of activity will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. leading directly up to the gates opening at Oswego Speedway for the Spring Championship event that evening.

Those who would like to participate in any facet of the ARISE Ride for Ramps event can register online at RideforRamps.org.  Registration can also take place on the day of the event.

All of the money raised at the event will be used to purchase materials for volunteers to use as they build ramps for families in need all across Oswego County, helping our neighbors feel the comfort of home again.
